William Jenack Auctioneers sale of June 11, 2017 will be offering Mid-Century, vintage and antique furnishings, silver jewelry including American Southwest Indian, Fine Art, Chinese Export Porcelains, collectables, glassware, Oriental carpets and rugs, bronzes and decorative accessories.
Fine art will lead the sale with offerings from such artists as an oil on canvas, view of The Grand Canyon by Ethel Irene (Haworth) Blandin (American 1887-1969); oil on canvas, “A Hussar on Guard” by Ernest Crofts (British 1847-1911); oil on panel, “Maree Basse en Bretagne” by Marcel Parturier (French 1901-1976); oil on canvas, summer landscape New England by Michael Karas (American 1954-); oil on canvas, still life with fish and shellfish by Pierre Garnier (French 1847-1937); oil on canvas, Gloucester Harbor View by Joseph Raskin (New York 1897-1981); ink on paper, Jack Skellington (from “A Nightmare Before Christmas) and untitled, circus performers by Tim Burton (American 1958-) and a ink on paper of Charlie Brown, Snoopy and Linus by Charles Schulz (American 1922-2000).

19th century cobalt decorated stoneware to be offered include W. Reynolds, Poughkeepsie, NY ovid crock; Mabbett & Anthone Poughkeepsie, NY ovid crock; Jacob Caire Poughkeepsie, NY ovid jug; I.V. Machett, Cornwall, NY 2 gallon jug; D. Goodale, Hartford CT ovid crock; J. C. Ball & Co. Poughkeepsie, NY cylindrical crock; Selby and Sanderson Poughkeepsie, NY ovid jug and attributed to Clarkson Croluis, NY ovid crock.
Chinese Export porcelain in the offering will include Fitzhugh pattern plate in the orange palate; pair of Canton blue and white tazzas; blue Fitzhugh pattern teapot stand; pair doucai bowls bearing Ch’ien Lung mark; 18th century Mandarin decorated tureen; pair of large famille rose decorated covered temple jars; 18th century Mandarin decorated vase with Christie’s label; Tobacco leaf platter.
Other notable items include a Faberge/Henrik Wigstrom tortoise shell box with gilt silver imperial crest; rare Maurice A.
